Buying toys for your child(ren) doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg. If you're resourceful and willing to put in a little elbow grease, you can save some serious cash while still providing for your kid(s). This swing set makeover saved us about $1400 this summer and took a days worth of work. Our daughter has played on it every single day.
